My story
I’ve been an artist and crafter for as long as I can remember—basically from the moment I could pick up a paintbrush. Growing up, people always told me, "You should be an artist!" But the traditional art path never felt right to me. I don't like being told what to create, and my creativity goes way beyond a flat canvas.
As a true Gemini, my art is cyclical. I can’t stay locked into just one medium for long, so depending on the season, I’m either painting, crocheting, or sewing. What ties it all together is my obsession with whimsical, boho style crafts and natural materials.
Rooted in Whimsy started because I wanted pieces I simply couldn't find anywhere else—unique accessories, clothing, and art made from natural fibers like cotton, linen, and wool. Even my paintings connect back to these roots, since canvas itself is woven from cotton or linen.
I make things I love, whenever inspiration hits. It’s spontaneous, it’s original, and it’s always made on a whim.

Every material is chosen with intention. I work exclusively with high-quality, natural fibers like cotton, linen, and wool because I love how they feel, how they wear, and the earthy, authentic quality they bring to every piece.
